Osteopathic evaluation and treatment of a horse with the common problem of castration scar or adhesion. Through changes in nerve flow it causes a rotation and fixation of the sacrum and one or both pelvic bones (so a sacro-iliac fixation) causing hind end issues. A pattern of 3 vertebrae in a row fixated in the upper lumbar spine (mid-back) indicates the gelding scar issue. The gentle, mechanical release of the gelding scar (high up via the sheath) resolves the pelvic bone issue leading to big changes in how horses can move athletically.

Osteopathic evaluation of this mare revealed fixations in pelvic bones (sacroiliac dysfunction)...the pelvic bones are not free (‘pee on a tree’ long lever test of hind limbs/SI joint).

Osteopathic diagnosis of verminous arteritis (worm aneurysm) in horses.
